Michelle looked stunning in her strapless dress and took a great deal of photos with her family and friends before the wedding. Several photos were taken with her mother and father and also with her Maid of Honor, Elise; who is also the sister of the bride. The Bride’s Maids all dressed in elegant Navy Blue and White with the color scheme continuing onto the tables at the reception. With the ceremony time set for 6:00 pm, the two were married in front of friends and family under The Dome at the Grand Marquis.
After the ceremony, the room was set up for the reception with all the guests retreating for cocktail hour. Da Vinci Photography ( www.davincifoto.com ) continued its coverage of the event by taking photos of the family, friends and guests all before the first toast was made after 7:00 pm. The first thing to notice when entering the reception room was a special cake made for Bill and Michelle’s special day. It features a four-tiered cake surrounded by green, mint green and white flowers on brown branches with a sports themed topper. The Groom is on ice hockey skates while the Bride appears to be giving him the thumbs up!
The entertainment for the evening was supplied by JMC Entertainment and featured classic and contemporary music throughout the evening. They were at the board for the night and played several special requests as the night progressed.
Da Vinci (www.davincifoto.com ) was again on hand for special dance photos throughout the night and the Best Man Toast, given by the groom’s brother, Mike. The toast was a very emotional toast with many of the guests sharing a few tears with the two brothers. Mike Buhler made reference to Bill being independent and how Bill always wanted to support his brother, Mike. “He stands by people always, with no questions asked,” said Mike. Mike also made reference to how Bill was a very “funny” person evening though he wasn’t a funny individual. A special story was also stated about a certain television incident between the two brothers made for a wild night when they were younger.
Mike also went on to talk about their trips to
At about 8:00 pm the first course was served, followed by the main course about a half hour later. Da Vinci Photography (www.davincifoto.com ) worked through the dinner and displayed a slideshow of the images already taken at 8:45 pm. These images are of photos of things like: the Bridal setup, the ceremony, beautiful portraits and various other images. Every wedding that has a continuous slideshow during the night always has a large gathering near the display screen.
By the end of the night, the guests had danced to many classic songs and enjoyed such favorites like The Cha Cha Slide. Around 10:00 pm, the cake cutting took place and both bride and groom behaved themselves! No cake on the face, as people would say. The dancing and photographs continued until 11:30 pm, when the guests and the happy couple ended their special night.
